in30A Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the in30A mobile app and the website at in30a.app (together, the “Service”) collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Service is operated by Visit Like a Local LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as in30A (“in30A,” “we,” “us”), 1821 N Lake Forest Dr, Ste 700 #123, McKinney, TX 75071.
in30A is a discovery and information app for the 30A corridor in Walton County, Florida, covering local businesses, deals, events, parking, transit, weather, and beach conditions.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your first and last name, email address, mobile number, and general location (state/country) to create and manage your account. You can browse much of the app without an account.
Location data. With your permission, the app uses your device’s location to show nearby places, center the map, and suggest the closest 30A town. This uses “While Using the App” permission, and the app still works if you deny it.
If you turn on Nearby Place Alerts (off by default), the app also uses your location in the background, which requires “Always” permission, to notify you when you are near a place you may like. This is used only for that feature and stops when you turn it off. We do not sell your location or share it with businesses.
Photos and camera. If you post to the Photo Wall, add a review photo, or submit a report with a picture, the app accesses the photos or camera you choose. Photos you post are visible to other users. Photos can contain embedded details such as where and when they were taken. When you post a photo, in30A reads its location to tag it with the nearby beach, town, or business so other users can see where it was taken, and you can remove that tag before posting. in30A then removes the exact GPS coordinates and other embedded camera data from the image file before it is stored, so the exact spot is never shared.
Calendar. If you choose to add an itinerary or event to your calendar, the app asks for calendar access and only creates the events you ask it to. We do not read your existing calendar entries.
AI Concierge. When you use the AI Concierge or AI itinerary help, the messages you type are sent to Google’s Gemini API to generate a response, along with in30A listing information needed to answer. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your questions. Google processes this data under its own API terms.
Push notification data. If you enable notifications, we store a device push token so we can send alerts you opted into (beach flag changes, saved search alerts, deals, events, and booking updates). Some notifications are paid promotions from local businesses; they are only sent to users who have notifications turned on, and you can turn categories off in Settings.
Content you provide. Reviews and ratings, favorites, itineraries, Photo Wall posts and comments, community questions and answers, lost and found posts, business suggestions and corrections, golf cart or activity booking requests (name, phone, pickup location, requested time), help and support messages, and parking, shuttle, beach flag, restroom, and wait time reports. Reviews, posts, and community reports are visible to other users.
Automatically collected information. Device type, operating system, app version, crash and error data, and general usage (for example, which screens are viewed) to keep the Service working and improve it. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not show third-party ads.
Business Accounts
If you represent a business that lists on in30A, we also collect your business contact details, billing information, and the content you publish. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers. Businesses receive aggregated statistics about their listing (such as views and taps). Businesses never receive your personal information unless you send it to them yourself, such as a booking request.
How We Use Information
- Run core features: maps, listings, parking and transit status, weather, beach flags, itineraries
- Show nearby and relevant content
- Send notifications you opted into
- Process booking requests and pass them to the business you chose
- Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only:
- With service providers that run the Service for us:
- Supabase: database, sign-in, and file storage
- Google Firebase: push notification delivery and website hosting
- Google Gemini API: AI Concierge responses
- Mapbox: maps
- Resend: sending account and service emails (such as sign-in codes and notifications)

- When required by law, or to protect the safety of users or the public
- In a business transfer, if in30A is merged or sold, under this policy
Public weather and beach flag data comes from the National Weather Service (NOAA) and South Walton Fire District. No personal data is sent to them.
Data Retention
We keep account information while your account is active. Support messages and booking request records are kept as long as needed to resolve them and for reasonable record keeping. Backups age out on a normal cycle.
Your Choices and Rights
- Edit your account details in Profile > Account Details.
- Turn location, camera, photos, calendar, and notifications on or off in your device settings or in the app.
- Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@in30a.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law; we will honor them, and you may appeal any decision by replying to our response.
Deleting Your Account
Delete your account any time in the app: Profile > Account Details > Delete Account. If you no longer have the app, request deletion at https://in30a.app/delete-account or email hello@in30a.app.
Deletion is permanent. Deleted right away: your profile, favorites, itineraries, reviews and ratings, Photo Wall posts, comments and likes, community questions and answers, lost and found posts, saved alerts and notification preferences, push token, suggestions and corrections, and support messages.
Not deleted, and why:
- Community condition reports (parking, shuttle, beach flag, restroom, wait times) are submitted anonymously, so they cannot be traced to you and remain as community data.
- Booking records may be kept by us and by the business you booked with for their records.
- Replies from other users to your posts belong to them; your post is removed or unlinked from you.
- Backups and logs may hold copies for a short time until they age out.
- Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot identify you may be kept.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email hello@in30a.app and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you in the app or by email.
